Holiday World Resort

Holiday World Resort opened in 2003 as the first all-inclusive hotel complex on the Costa del Sol. A remarkable destination featuring amazing, themed areas, airy public spaces and a myriad of choices of leisure activities.

The Holiday World experience is ideal for those travelling to play golf; right on the coast of Malaga province, this is an area offering golfers a huge variety of courses and excellent facilities with incomparable Mediterranean views. What’s more, the resort has created flexible accommodation options for those looking for either an all-inclusive holiday or for those who prefer the privacy of a self-catering apartment.

Holiday World is known by many as the ‘hotel with the elephants’ because of its striking entrance roundabout with a sculpture of a herd of these friendly mammals greeting guests on arrival at the impressive 200,000 m2 site.

The complex is made up of three 4-star hotels plus premium-quality tourist apartments. The Holiday World experience is now available to everyone, whether they are looking for a holiday in an all-inclusive resort or prefer the privacy of a self-catering apartment with great views.

The Holiday Village hotel is the first of the three that you see as you enter the resort. Guests are greeted inside a large lobby in the form of an inverted glass pyramid divided into two very distinct zones: Paradise, a peaceful space featuring a huge indoor garden; and Oasis, the shopping and leisure area.

The second hotel is the Holiday Polynesia, with an exotic ambiance that recreates the Polynesian isles of Bora Bora, Samoa and Easter Island – the public areas are all decorated in their characteristic style. An impressive indoor pool with waterfalls generates a microclimate within the hotel, softening changes in temperature like a natural form of air conditioning.

The third hotel, the Holiday Riwo, renovated in 2019, with a fresh and modern look, it is the smallest of the family and the most intimate in feel.

All Holiday World hotels have remarkably spacious rooms of more than 62 m2, for up to 4 people and with kitchenette included. What makes the resort stand out overall is the choice on offer; themed restaurants, meeting rooms, a sports centre, health club and spa along with many other services.

Its conference centre – with function rooms holding up to 1,200 people indoors and outdoors – or its many outdoor areas are ideal for organising large meetings, conferences or incentive events. There are infinite staging and audiovisual options and food and drink possibilities to guarantee the ultimate successful event.

The latest addition to Holiday World’s accommodation range is the recently opened Casamaïa premium tourist apartments overlooking the sea – another way to enjoy the Costa del Sol in the seclusion of an exclusive apartment.

The entire resort complex is owned by Grupo Peñarroya, a family company for more than 55 years which is committed to innovation, opening new markets and diversifying its lines of business, all underpinned by its core values of responsible tourism, sustainability and social commitment. Holiday World continues to strengthen its position in the hotel market, building on its distinctive offer and tremendous expertise with the recent appointment of Iciar Gatell as sales and marketing director.
