Melia Hotels & Resorts, One of the leading hotel companies worldwide, has reached an agreement to implement on its website the online greenfees booking tool of Golfspain, a technology that it is being used by more than a hundred golf courses in Spain and Portugal and thousands of golfers from around the world.
The mentioned online greenfees booking tool will be accessible through a banner called ‘Portal’, which will give Meliá Hotels & Resorts users access to the wide range of golf courses that, through the Imaster.golf platform, are using the technology developed by Golfspain.
The agreement reached allows the thousands of customers who regularly visit the Meliá Hotels & Resorts website to book online, in the same action, greenfees in all those Spanish golf courses interested in being included in the ‘Portal’ platform , thereby completing their package in a single operation.
In order to comply with all legal requirements, Golfspain will soon contact all the golf courses to obtain their consent. Ricardo Pascual, Golfspain CEO, recognizes that “for us it is a great satisfaction to reach agreements with companies of the entity and the recognition of Meliá, since it assures us that we are doing things the right way as they are very important companies, with a very high level of demand.”
